free drum loop/maker programs?

Hello I was just wondering if there were any free drum loop/drum beat maker software thats worth getting. I'm making mostly hip hop/R&B tracks. All i'm looking to do is put down ideas nothing professional or anything I have a older version of sonar and a delta series sound card that i will be using for other midi instruments.

or if i download a demo version of fruity loops can I export the file and put it on sonar??
