...let me hasten to add that I wouldn't own an Oktava without R.E.'s pontificating on their virtues.

I just love the idea of someone out there with his "Radio Shack Mics Rules web page!"

That was (sorry KingNothing, I have to say it) EPIC ! Didja notice who the site sponsor is......I'm cracked.......gibs

Nice gibs. If you want you can just say:

That was Epic (Copyright King).

That would also suffice, just make sure that you get the copyright in there, otherwise we are lookin at some serious legal infractions. :)

Everyone's allowed their weapon of choice... Hehe.

Does the heart good, doesn't it, seeing someone maximizing the potential of their gear.

"Optimus 33-3020 Boundary Mic...can also be used as vocal mics when used close to the singer's mouth like a conventional vocal mic."

Cool. No pop filter required. And for live on stage use, just staple one to your nose.

Don't care what no-1 says. Radio Whack mics
totally sucks! And in my opinion,I find R.E.'s comments and info on mic's valuable.

I just couldn't bring myself to listen to the mp3s. I was kind of hoping he used one of those battery powered mixers instead of a Mackie.

Hey, I used to use one of those little battery powered mixers. What a piece of shiiiiiiiiiitttt! The recording level was like a flat-line.

HEY! I have one of those (I think). Anyway, it's a little thingie that plays breakout when the room is dark. You can route your VCR to the TV, your tape to the VCR, your TV to the electric can opener, all sorts of things you can do with it. No batteries, though. Sorry. Must have been something else.

Wonder what happens when I run 220 volts though it...

wow !

I don't know if I should be proud or ashamed...recently I used a rs boundary mic for a leslie cab.... I should put the demo up for sag......
