Just a few tips

Seriously,

I don't know where to start with these forums. Are there any quick tips you can give to someone just starting out? I have been a musician for some time but I just loaded Cubase SX and that program is kicking my #$% :-)

Appreciate any suggestions on Forum style.

For Cubase, there is a user forum.

I don't use it myself, so no help. Sorry. Other than that, peruse the areas that interest you, such as guitars, or drums. Try the Newbie section, as many questions get asked in there that are pretty general, and might point you to other forums. Hope that is what you were wanting.

Just my opinion.
Hang out and just read for a while. Go to any forum that seems to show stuff that you need to know, and read. If it's not yielding anything, go elsewhere. There's no hurry. This is a cool place to learn stuff. Get the lay of the land first. . .

groan - 246 to go. Oh well - it'll give me time to come up with a cool graphic for the avatar. What formats? Animated gif? Flash?

You can give rep points to other ppl by clicking in the image next to the post number in the right-top corner of each post and approving the post (sign it in the text field).

And when you gather certain number of points then you get more POWER :D

at least I think thats how it is...
