Has anyone else got channels going quiet issues with their Behringer Xenyx X1222USB?
Mine started with channel 4 playing up. This would go quiet during live work , so you turn it up and then it suddenly clears and then too loud ('cause we just turned it up!). Sent it back to Thomann who stated they found a fault, but seems to now do the same thing with channel 1. We've changed PA speakers, cables, mic, instrument and still get it. Trouble is it is really intermittent and so when you test it at home it all appears OK. Hence posting this to see if anyone else has experienced anything similar.

Send it back to Thomann for a new one - yours is a lemon and just waiting for a major gig to destroy itself.

Yes, if it is still under warranty you can, in some circumstances demand a replacement or indeed a full refund.
Not THE biggest fan of Behringer but son and I have some of their kit and we have had no reliability issues, nor I think do the majority of people?

Dave.

My Behringer 32 channel Eurodesk mixer is 20 years old now, and still works like new.
My PolyD has an issue. Hit the distortion switch and the volume goes right down.
My MS-5 has an issue. Everything seems fine, except something is rattling around inside it.
Could be a surface mount resistor, or capacitor, or as bit of swarf or plastic.

Have you contacted Behringer? My friends Behringer gear got repaired for free - not sure if it was warrantied or not -
I think it wasn’t.

Does the rattling cause problems or just bothers you? I imagine you could take the bottom off - it's about 20 screws or so - and let what ever it is slip out.

I'll probably just open it up and check out the cicuit. It worked ok at first.

It is just a mystery. Everything seems to work.
