When are you going to post something? Me, I've posted my last song for about a year or more. Seems to piss someone off when I post...
 
... not that I am letting him run my life, but it's just that time. I will be packing my gear away in about 3 weeks, except for my geetar, and it's off to lessonville...

I know what you mean....just as soon as possible...I am still trying to figure out my midi688....My buddy who has the gear he needs to record is gone for short while......He.s still testing out the do's and don'ts...BUT...I hope at least by the end of May..no later than June.....I am still getting my little noise-modification room ready, so I can get hands on experience....I might even play a bit of geetar on it......nooooooooooooo..... :p :D
And as far as the urination thing goes......there is always a weenie behind that stream.......... :eek: ..did that even make sense...? Did you read my post about Jake the red weenie..hitting me with love yesterday?....
I could hit him right back I guess.........but I won't......but just keep pushin me.......WEENIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! bwahahahahahaa :D We ALL can use practice...hang in there , you'll get it....

Okay..........If that is your intent................ :rolleyes: ...a year with no recording.....I will have to see this to believe it.....once it is in the blood..even a transfusion won't do... :eek: ....I record every day...but I won't say what on. :o ...it would be a travesty....is that the correct word?
And I can not stop..It is a sickness....I can't stop singing,or playing the keyboard,or assaulting my geetar...... :D ...Lessons are good ....Good and expensive!!!..But I myself need to start up lessons again....drums and geetar...geeze....No tellin' what can happen after a year of lessons...we won't even recognize each other..well first you need to hear how awful I am..so you have something to measure my improvement by...need some piano lessons too...I feel a second job coming on...arrrg!!! :rolleyes: :D
You do real nice on the accoustic in that song your bud wrote... :)

Yeah, I know the barebones basics with guitar. It's not my first love, though, the bass is. So it's a struggle for me to learn how to solo and stuff like that. I know my scales, but I always seem to play it like a bass, so it doesn't sound right. That's the biggest reason that there is no solo on that song (that, and the matrix thing fit like a glove with the timing and the meaning behind the song).
So I will take lessons. Most likely, it will be me hooking up with someone who is better than I am and me leaching off him/her.... If I had to pay, I would, but that will be on my downtime when I am not sailing the 7 seas...

Well, I bet you come back with a vengance.... :D ..Hey ARE you going to be sailing the 7-seas again?........Sometimes leaching is all we got...and I'm not too proud!!!........You think playing the accoustic like the bass is problems?...
I play it like the drums... :eek: But all in all that is a good song..mabey the recording needs tweeking, and his vocals sharpened up..But IT IS A GOOD SONG....Like I said ...I would like to sing it myself..that is how good I liked it.
:) ...Just don't let anyone's rudeness discourage you...a truely great musician is he who can remember the before and after....and not become the end of the donkey.....

Words to live by!

Yeah, I am going to become a merchant mariner after I retire. Sailing is in my blood, and it's what I am truely good at. Plus I can make a ton of money at it. It means a little sacrifice by being away from my family, but after 10 years with me, the wife is used to it. She will have her family there anyway...

I'm glad that you liked the song. I liked it alot. The melody is something that I came across messing with somone else's amp one night in 1994, and it's been with me ever since. I wrote it for the collab we did, as you read in the thread, and my friend had this song kicking around for a couple years too. He rewrote it to fit, and that's the end product...
 
i made like 5 avatars today. now i need to get 200 posts so i can ude it.

i will average 15 posts in this thread everyday everday..
