For kick: D112, Beta52, EV868

I've been searching and reading up on kick drum mics. These 3 seem to be the most popular. Are they on par with each other? I think I'm gonna buy the next one (used) I see come up in the classifieds around here. Or should I hold out for one over the others?

The d112 and Beta 52 are in the same ballpark. They don't sound exactly the same, but they are the same kind of thing.

A used D112 for $125. Looks brand new. The ex-owner said he used it about 3 times.
