Focusrite or Presonus?

Thanks for everyone's inputs! It was VERY helpful... What a nice forum!

I will let you all know how I like my new preamps. BTW I will be going through the Sytek/RNC route.

I know a guy that seems to know his stuff and he likes the eureka and the mp20 is a good one as well...but Ive also heard bad presonus stuff as well.

Id go with the Toft atc2 with a great river me1nv...use the toft eq with the great river for some bang for 2k.
 
I know that the Presonus Eureka is not a Great River by any means, but it does sound quite good and different from the other previous presonus pres. The preamp is very clean (don't use the saturate button) And the compressor is pretty nice. Great for the price. I love vocals and guitars tracked with this pre. Just my .02 Enjoyed it much more than the focusrite platinum series and Digi002 pres.
