Ok about 4 years ago I retrieved a electric bass from my uncle's basement which had flooded a few years previously. I tested it once, it works but I'm not sure how well, I honestly dont remeber. What I'm wondering is if the flood would hurt sound quality or just kill it, so if it works it still works near top notch or if it could decrease the sound quality.
The other question may be harder to answer, it belonged to my father and now I want to learn to play it, I more just want to know how good a quality the guitar is.
My father got it when he was around 16 about 30 years ago like 72' 73' (Is there anyway to get an exact year?), it's a Kent, it was in the flood I mentioned above, there are a few minor scratches and nicks everything seems to be in reasonable condition. My father also mentioned at one point it being the same bass Beatles, Led Zepplin or some other fairly big rock group used at the same time he got it. So basically I want to know how to tell the model, year and if its a good quality guitar.
Thanks, Prophet-One
