I was once considering moving to Mexico upon retirement, do they still kill gringos down there. Whats the policy on Americans buying property and moving there, do you know?

No, we left our 30-30 carabbin next to our sarape by the nopal.
But seriously, Mexico is a really nice place to live and it's easy to move here if you have a job OR bank accounts, etc. (anything that makes the govmt. see that you can sustain yourself economically here.
If you want some more info, I'll be glad to help, pal. I did the immigration tramit for some americans I work for.
