Hiya everyone. Just thought I could maybe get a little help with some songs i'm working on. I've been hanging around this board and other boards trying to gain a little knowledge and now I'm able to put that knowledge to practice. I also look foward to being able to give back a little someday. Anyway, a little background information...

I have minimal experience recording but i've been playing instruments forever. Its always been my dream to have a little recording set up, so since i've graduated college and started working in the real world i've been able to make that happen. I have a MAC G5 dual 2.0 Ghz with logic express, yorkville YSM1P monitors, a mackie onyx 400f, and an audix CX-112 which i've used to record these two songs. I've since been upgrading in the mic department so hopefully that'll help me.

Criticism is greatly appreciated. Thanks ahead of time.

Sounds great to me!

The only thing I noticed was the harmonica. It sounded like a couple of notes were off key. Then again I don't play harmonica :( lol

Lovley acoustic sound and the vocals sound great - keep it up :)

Perhaps a little compression on your voice would be suitable.

Harmonica is nice, but as was mentioned, some sketchy notes in the first passage.

The guitar sounds very nice, and I like your lyrics.

I kept waiting for a middle section, perhaps a descending C or something, but that's just personal taste.

I think you made some great artistic choice by keeping this song very sparse. That's something I'd like to be able to do.

"She knows it's bullshit, cause the world is full of it...

...And every girl has her time."

Nice work.
