Dogman......is this a bunch of strange happing or what. Sounds like high school days and having to write on the black board. I will learn to do it right 100 times.

I am in Tucson AZ enjoying all the sand & snakes until Feb 7. I have the original files and can take each one and mix them down one at a time to the MP3's at 320k. as you are requesting….. or all files can be ( except the drums) mixed to 1 file at 320k. Which well be the vox, keys, The drums can be there too and the three can be mixed until they start to sound wonderful to the ears of whoever mixes. I don't have the individual files of the guitar & bass...and would not mix them the way ....as the people who played them intended...we all hear where things go different...and then some people just don't hear it at all. Me for one, cause I just do it my way. The files True is messing with are 128k suitable for Soundclick...not the 320K you need. I can tell you are able to do this, but it would be great if each of us were on the same page. But we all start some place along the road. Dog.......I will do this for you when I return in about a week. I don't think True and her degree of understanding or what is happing is quit there and she know that too........so we all should help her learn at a pace that will develop into success for her rather than frustration and self spanking. I am the 1st to admit this digital computer stuff is something I am in the beginning stages myself. Enough said.
Self spanking??? Never!! :D

Well, I am also in the beginning, my friend. If she has 128Kfiles, that will work for me....wasn't sure what things were mixed like, and who had what. I think I can use about anything that is standard. Does Cubase save things in a format native to itself? I know Sonar will save files this way.....you still need the audio files, but it has a system of lining them up and adding FX and such that is only going to work in Sonar.
And as far as your mixing abilities, they are as good, if not better than anyone else involved. I for one, am not particular as to hearing what I did in any way, as True is the one who needs to have her tune sound as close to what she hears in her head. So, however my amall part is put into this, or even if it needed replaceing, is fine with me. I would love to have all the tracks, as I could use the practice playing with something that is not of my own making, and seeing how it turns out. But, I also think you did a fine job to start with, and want to hear what you hear.

And, no problem on waiting here. Time is something we can't buy, so we just have to wait on it. So, whatever works best for you, and True, that is fine with me.
