Then we're screwed. :p
Hehehehe...naw, there is a seperate file for drums and vocals and keys. They are just in the same project file. I think. :D

I don't have Cubase, so I will need Mp3's. 320K Mp3's should do fine for this. If the drums/keys/vox are all one file, that should work.
I do have cubase, but it won't load the 3 into my LE...I may have to try something else. Choc is gone now, so I am waiting on an e-mail from him about how I can do this.

If you have the 3 seperate files, email tehm to me. You can just send them 1 at a time if you want. And I'm not sure about Cubase, but just try starting a new session. Then it might let you put all 3 tracks in it.

Same as for me True!

We can all have a go and post to each other if that's fine with everyone! :)

Hey Dogman,

Do you want me to send you my guitar tracks (3), I have mixed them all onto 1 stereo track or do you want them seperate?

Why don't you send a stereo file...I think that would work fine for that, unless you need it panned a certain way. Do you wan the bass file, or do you have it already?

It doesn't even give me that option. When I try to load, a cubase message box pops up and says " This is Version 3.0.0 version 1.0.7 cannot load it. I don't what to try. I think this happened before, and I had to do it a different way, but I am still waiting on Choctaws' e-mail.

Maybe I could just send you guys the files he sent me as is, and you can get something figured out??? My brain hurtZ!! :D

But I will go try something else anyway ...AGAIN. And Dog, I'll need your bass file.

That sounds cool to me!!! I will be back in a bit. Going to try again. :)

If you want, send me your files, the way they are if you think that best, this being my first real try at this.

Guys, a stereo file might not be a good idea. I'm ASSUMING by how Choctaw explained what he di that he lined up the drums right. But if by chance they're not, we're back to square one with a stereo file. Just a thought. Seperate tracks would be ideal.

I will be back shortly and let you know what I have been able to do with Choctaws file. :)

This is true....Send me the files, all seperate. I'll post a link after I upload the bass track. Rami, do you want anything?

True, I think you will have to load the files as just the Mp3's, or Wav files...whatever they are. Just as if you DL's them from the net.

But seriosuly, folks...........

I'll let you give it a shot and then if need be, I'll give it a try after you...

We'll make this PMC No. whatever...........or not.

Ok, the bass file is up....Bass
Since it's only about 12 meg, I left it as a wav...

I'm thinking I may need to hear the drums in the correct position, the guitar tracks may need to be re-tracked! I followed, bass, vocals and drums when I cut the guitars!

If someone could send me a file (mp3) will be fine with the drums in line with everthing and I will have a listen!

If I need to do anything I will and then send the tracks to whoever wants them!

Gorty said:
Is this the original bass track or the tuned re-track? :D :)
Original. I was going to see how it lined up and sounded with the drums repositioned. I will redo it if necessary. I played by ear, so I don't think the bad tuning matteres as much as my bad playing....

Willing to help if I can...........?

Dogman......is this a bunch of strange happing or what. Sounds like high school days and having to write on the black board. I will learn to do it right 100 times.

I am in Tucson AZ enjoying all the sand & snakes until Feb 7. I have the original files and can take each one and mix them down one at a time to the MP3's at 320k. as you are requesting….. or all files can be ( except the drums) mixed to 1 file at 320k. Which well be the vox, keys, The drums can be there too and the three can be mixed until they start to sound wonderful to the ears of whoever mixes. I don't have the individual files of the guitar & bass...and would not mix them the way ....as the people who played them intended...we all hear where things go different...and then some people just don't hear it at all. Me for one, cause I just do it my way. The files True is messing with are 128k suitable for Soundclick...not the 320K you need. I can tell you are able to do this, but it would be great if each of us were on the same page. But we all start some place along the road. Dog.......I will do this for you when I return in about a week. I don't think True and her degree of understanding or what is happing is quit there and she know that too........so we all should help her learn at a pace that will develop into success for her rather than frustration and self spanking. I am the 1st to admit this digital computer stuff is something I am in the beginning stages myself. Enough said.
