I know..... I know..... it’s not an Ampex, but for two years I have been looking for one. I love my 234, but was looking for a “￾normal” speed cassette for when I geek out and do cassette collaborations through the mail.

I’m just waiting until it shows up now..... Here’s the link.....

Just one question...you DID see that it says "For Parts, Not Working" in the listing...didn't you?

....oh yeah..... but I have a fully functional 234.... and Sweetbeats will get bored with that new baby soon enough..... :D :D

Huh? I'm lost. So why did you buy a broken one? You turning into a "buy up orphans and fix em up' kind of guy?
:D

Actually, I’ve always done it like that...... not to make huge profits, but just so I can afford the equipment. Fixing is out of necessity and not out of my love for electrons :D

Oh, ok nothing wrong with that. I do that myself. :)
I look at it as being 'environmentally friendly'. One more thing usable rather than being consigned to the trash heap :)
Besides, you can get killer deals on broken gear!
:D
