Feedback on song?

I wrote and recorded this recently and am looking for some feedback on both the song and the recording. I’m not trying to overproduce by any means, and definitely a fan of the more raw kind of alternative rock.

Song is okay. The vocals are too quiet and they sound thin. Was this intentional?

The song is good. The vocal could use some angst/emotion to liven it up - but I can see where this vocal version fits in with alt rock. The song felt like it was lagging behind itself from start to finish. I don't think it needs a tempo adjustment, maybe some emotional angst and slight changes in the vocal's delivery. Also, a Hammond organ would fit nicely in this.
