It's been a while since I posted here. Anyways, I haven't gotten much done this year, but I'm trying to improve my mixing abilities so I posted a few tracks to get some feedback.

"Consequences", "Ebenezer's Groove" and "Another Day V2".

Let me know what you think, especially on the mixes, and drop your links.

Thanks.

Hey man. Great job. I really enjoyed listening to all of those! Especially ANother Day. The beats were all great and the melodies and things like that seemed to fit very well into the mix. What was your setup to do this?

Thanks for the feedback, glad you enjoyed them.

For these tracks I mainly was using a Korg Z1 and Kurzweil ME-1. An Akai S2000 handled the drums. They're all sequenced by a Roland JX-305.

I record/mix with a Roland VM3100 Digital Mixer/Control Surface and Logic. Waves Gold for any effects.

Thanks again.

"Consequences" i love that nice dark feel to it..its a hot track

"Ebenezer's Groove" i love the the keys you used on this song..shouold have someone singin on this on and the bridge is hot

"Another Day V2" this is the hit right here...when you do the collab i want to here it..this is the truth..

you have improved a great deal on mixing..was like you had to much to improve on...keep up the hard work..and thanks for the feedback...gotta work on some new stuff now...peace

Nice work, man. The thing I like about your work is that it has a wholeness to it. They are not just "beats" but fully arranged songs, with intros, verse and chorus sections, bridges, etc. . .

You must put a lot of work into these, and it definately shows. Good job!

Preciate the feedback everybody. DMA, I started with the DR-5 too, loved that little machine.

hey,

I just listened to "Another Day V2" ....now that's the kind of snare that makes me want to groove!! :) Well done! It's a great track all around though, not to busy and overdone and that's a good thing.
