Ok, stone me.

AlChuck, you're a 'force of nature', so just strike me down with lightning.

(I think I have a 'force of nature' within me, but it's probably something I ate).

re: Stevie Nicks vs. Dylan,
"I meant" that Stevie Nicks is not so much of a great singing voice, but a person who can deliver a heartfelt song in a unique style of her own.

Granted, Dylan is sooooo great, that anyone would have trouble measuring up to him. Dylan has spanned the decades, and spanned many styles, and has always put his brand or trademark sound on everything he's done. Dylan's never ceased to amaze me, about how prolific he is. Dylan has written thousands of songs, and has dozens and dozens of albums. Admittedly, Stevie Nicks doesn't quite measure up to Dylan in most categories.

But I would not feel so all alone,...
Everybody must get stoned!

On a hot summer's night, would you offer your throat to the wolf with the red roses?

I don't know. For some reason I've been on a Meatloaf kick lately. The man's lyrics and sound were awesome. And his voice was just - Oh I don't know how to describe it, but I wish I had his range- awesome.

Whatta bout all the other singers...

Freddy Mercury
Steve Winwood
Jon Anderson
Steve Tyler
Alice Cooper
Stevie Wonder
Ian Thornly
Geddy Lee?

Sure someone mentioned Bon Scott

Brian Johnson rocks too.

Female singers:

Sheryl Crow
Chrissy Hynde
Madonna
Holly Cole (get's annoying quick but good singer)
Natelie Imburglia

So many good singers, the list could go on and on. But it's all personal preference, that's what seperates singers from dime a dozen guitarists.

since it says FAVORITE vocalists...

... no one can knock me down for those ones:

- Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora, especially together (I really wonder why some people hate them that much)
- Vince Neil (sounds like a kid... or pitched, but that's what I like about him)
- Bret Michaels
- Bruce Dickinson (classic-touch)
- Elvis (yeah, really)
- James Brown
- Tom Jones

for the ladies I'd say:

- Anastacia
- Aretha and Erma Franklin and a whole lot of those other 60's soul-singers

Put me on the ballot, seconding:

Freddie Mercury
Alice Cooper
Rick James
Stevie Wonder
Chrissie Hynde

Rock on.

In no particular order:

Meatloaf
Jon Bon Jovi
Rik Emmet
Freddie Mercury
Ron Taylor (Lillian Axe)

Gervis.

I forgot all about Lee Ving."The trouble today with women, the mouth dont stop".Are we talking about the same guy?
