Jeez! I'm flabbergasted. I had no idea you folks would dig this that much. It was mainly just an experiment to try out recording some audio. I mostly do MIDI with only minimal audio tracks, although I'm definitely moving toward doing much more audio. I basically owe the whole thing, techwise, to Cakewalk PA 9. It's so intuitive to use and has fantastic features. If anybody is looking to move into DAW recording, I highly recomend it over all others!! The funny thing is, I hate to admit, I mix on some crappy $100 Yamaha bookshelf speakers. I'm getting some real monitors very soon, as well as a few other badly needed items. Also, I would be remiss if I didn't give a huge amount of credit to A)my two partners who wrote the song (very quickly I might add) and performed most of the parts (I did drums, percussion and keys) and B) my instructor, Hillary Johnson (www.hillaryjohnson.com) of the 12-week recording workshop I just took last fall, Manhattan Recording Workshop. if y ou are in the NYC area, check it out!
CMiller: The plugins are a combo of the Cakewalk package that came with CWPA9 and the Digilogue BlueLine package that was reveiwed in Recording magazine January '00.
