I just bought the us-122 with Cubase LE and it's up and running. After my first attempt at a mix the final exported mixdown was cut off at the beginning and at the end. What the?....Who the....Other than that the maiden voyage went surprisingly well. I'm hooked with Windows XP

there's a slider bar at the top to mark your start and end points for a song. Make sure you have it set correctly because it will only mix down what is between the start and finish markers.

many thanks

Thanks for the info. Can you set up Cubase so that you don't have to set the marker at the end and just record till you're done? If not, if you set it way longer than you recorded can you just move it to the end of the song when you're finished? (hence the nickname)

The markers don't matter when recording (at least not the end one). It only matters during export.

It sounds like you have your record mode set to punch in and out. There's buttons to control this in the transport bar. Unselect them to record straight through.

Thank you

Thank you guys for the info. This totally clears up this problem. Thanks to the non-doofusses of the world who help us doofi survive in a technical world.

Rtfm

Doofus there is a very wise piece of advice that I was given when I first started recording music back in the days of Edison and tape ........ RTFM ( Read The F****ng Manual)
Best wishes and have fun :D
