Event 20/20 BAS as Soffit Mounted Mains

If installed per this plan:

How effective would the Event 20/20 BAS monitors perform in this situation?
If not those, I read somewhere that the JBL LSR28P's make for good soffit mounted mains. Can anyone confirm or deny this?
I have a pair of the Events and if those would work, great; but if not, I may be able to squeeze a few more dollars out of the budget for the LRS's.

Any thoughts?

Michael - when we had built Left Bank we were waiting for the main speakers (genelecs) and we had a pair of 20/20/BAS so I stuck them in the holes - they sounded great!!

I'd do it :D
