whats up everyone.
i'm thinking about building my own home studio this summer, ive always had a passion for music and i think now is the time to start pursuing!!
anywayyyyyss, i mostly want to be producing electronic/dance music and i just need some quick help about where to start, and what equipment is right for me.
1. Software?? (I hear Ableton Live, Logic Pro, and Reason were good)
2. Keyboards?? (I'm looking at the M-Audio Oxygen 49, thoughts?)
3. MPDs?? (thoughts about Akai MPD26, or M-Audio Trigger Finger?)
4. External Soundcards?? (thoughts about PreSonus AudioBox?)
5. Speakers/Headphones??
6. Anything else??
Being a college student, i'm on a tight budget. I'm not looking for the best equipment on the market, just stuff that will do the trick.
Again, i'm super new at this but motivated to learn so let me hear your thoughts!
