Where i can find a good tutorial to learn how to use the graphic equalizer of cool edit pro 2.0? (or any equalizer).. i want to know what means every bar of the equalizerq

Every bar means a certain range of frequencies: each bar's an octave for the 10-bar equalizer, half an octave for the 20-bar equalizer, and a third of an octave for the 30-band equalizer. Which is not very precise, actually. Which is why most people use the parametric EQ - it's more precise.

I still need to read through it, I myself don't understand much about EQ, but I do know that the Parametric EQ is more accurate, from readings and a audio class I'm taking.
