You're finding rhyming words from differening verses in the song!

Well, I did say the rhyming "pattern" was a little unusual.

Didn't you pick up on it? Third line, first verse. Third line, bridge. Second line, fourth verse.

What makes it real tricky is the skip pattern in verses two and three.

Bet it can't find a rhyme for Saginaw!

What's wrong with Cole Slaw?

We ate the pies and some cole slaw,
My stomach hurt from Ann Arbor to Saginaw.

Dachay Finds A Rhyme For Saginaw

We ate the pies and some cole slaw,
My stomach hurt from Ann Arbor to Saginaw.

Now there's a lyric I can relate to Dachay! It has humour, it has pathos, it has symbolism. I love the way the main character bares his soul.

He could just as easily be singing about my own worthless life. The tears are rolling down my cheeks. I feel his pain.

This is a masterpiece! Have you considered adapting it as a screen play? I can see Al Pacino in the main role with perhaps a cameo appearance from Arnold Schwartzenegger. It'll be a box office smash. Who will you get to do the soundtrack?

Oh, of course! You will...

Making words rhyme is a tuff thing to do. I've always had trouble, but I have done a few. If the ideas would just come, I wouldn't feel so dumb, but I can't make it fly, so why even try? Finally, it hit me; some of the best songs I've heard, are pure instrumental, they ain't got no words! So, that's what I write, and it's the easy way out. But you guys know by now, that's what I'm all about!!!!

Oh, to find the perfect rhyme!!! Why must it be so elusive???
