Emu 1212m & Adat issues

Adat Blackface is connected to the 1212 via lightpipe, instead of getting 8 seperate chans, I'm only getting 4 pair such as track 1 would adat 1/2, track 2 would be adat 3/4, and so on. Is there a way to get 8 individual tracks?

Disregard, I found my answer:

1) Set up 4 ADAT strips in PatchMix with ASIO Sends and leave them panned hard left and right.
2) Go to Cubase and activate the 4 ASIO devices.
3) Create 8 MONO audio tracks in Cubase and choose ADAT 1, 2, 3 etc... for each one and make sure they are each panned to the center.

This should allow you to record and monitor all 8 inputs in MONO.
