i do love smilies...
hullo
i'm getting ever so tempted by the Electro Harmonix Frequency Analyzer. my band are fairly ambient/experimental/off-the-wall, and i've been looking for something to make some fun guitar noises for quite a while now - my pedal board is already laiden down with phasers and chorus' and distortions and what not, but nothing truly 'out there'
...
has anyone used this thing? got any particularly interesting sounds out of it? had it fallen to bits on them mid set? from the sound samples on the internet (the only thing i can go on - if it isn't Digitech or Boss, shops in Britain don't seem to stock it
) and it sounds like it might be interesting. if i could afford the big Moog ring modulator thing i'd go for it, but i can't, so i won't
.
