Electric upright bass build

My latest build.Electric upright bass that mounts on a mic stand.It's actually a modification of a cello I had built last year. I extended the neck and bought an upright bass fingerboard. The wood is Makore. Really pleased with this one. I still have to mount the pickup (a regular old Pbass pickup.)

I want one, I bought an ARIA SWB-Lite BIS electric upright last year to try out and now it's like I have found my destiny LOL. I am currently looking for an acoustic upright but also a better electric.

Pieces from my next build, already in progress. A semi acoustic upright bass. It's going to be a shorter scale. I bought a cello fingerboard, rather than a double bass fingerboard, which still puts it very close to the scale of an ordinary electric bass.
