Edirol UA-5 Digital Out -> a Delta 66?

This may be an odd question, but an answer would be great:

Is it possible to wire up a Edirol UA-5 to my Delta 66 digital in to add an extra 2 channels of audio? I know it is a mickey mouse setup, but it's only for when a friend of my mine records with me. He uses the card himself, I'm not buying it for this purpose BTW.

I'm not sure you can sync them together, given that one is on the usb , the other on the pci bus.

The only way it might work would be if you hooked the s/pdif out to the s/pdif in of the 66. Worth a try anyway
