Has anybody heard of the Edirol Studio 8?
I've been reading up on it in a magazine, trying to see if it would be a good alternative to buying a computer, mixer, software, etc. as separate parts. The Edirol Studio 8 is a computer, soundcard, software, roland monitors and roland 8 track package. Seems alright, but the software provided is Cubasis VST U8, and Cakewalk for Roland U8. I think these are both limited to 8 tracks, but I wanted at least 32.
My question is, if I buy better software for it, will it all be compatible? Also, the monitors provided are Roland MA110's. Are these any good?
Any advice on what I should do?
It says in the magazine that the package would be on the site, but I can't find it. the site is http://www.edirol.com.au
The monitors are on there, in the products section.
