Edirol Studio 8....

Has anybody heard of the Edirol Studio 8?
I've been reading up on it in a magazine, trying to see if it would be a good alternative to buying a computer, mixer, software, etc. as separate parts. The Edirol Studio 8 is a computer, soundcard, software, roland monitors and roland 8 track package. Seems alright, but the software provided is Cubasis VST U8, and Cakewalk for Roland U8. I think these are both limited to 8 tracks, but I wanted at least 32.
My question is, if I buy better software for it, will it all be compatible? Also, the monitors provided are Roland MA110's. Are these any good?
Any advice on what I should do?

Forgot to mention...

I forgot to mention a couple of things.
I want to use it to record myself, and other bands.
The computer supplied (to the magazine at least) was a 450mhz P3, 64Mb RAM, 12Gb hard drive. The sound is USB.
The Roland 8-track is the U8, which has effects, and a MIDI interface (don't know if that's good for me).
Because the 8-track connects to the computer by one USB, will it still recognise each track on the 8-track as 8 separate tracks, or just one?
It also comes with mastering software, and the whole lot costs Australian $3149 according to the magazine, which seems really cheap to me.

I'm not familiar with the Edirol 8, but I am familiar with the gang at Edirol. I bought a Roland SC8850 and a Roland UA100 from them and was completely satisfied. If you have any questions about the products you're thinking of buying, CALL them and ask away. They are the most helpful salespeople I've ever dealt with. They answered every one of my questions, and helped me along after I received the stuff and still needed help. They're good people over there and I don't think you can go wrong by talking to them. Just my 2 cents.

I dont get why you wouldnt just build your own computer, or upgrade the one you got.
