Early mix of a crunchin hardrock tune

So far it's been compared to In Flames, Korn and KMFDM, neat. I guess that's a good thing? All very different bands.. Honestly of the 3 I only listen to In Flames, but I don't personally think it sounds anything like them, at least nothing before Reroute..
 
Very cool tune. I think the kick needs more body to it, but I can hear fine. Nice work in my opinion. I'd love to hear it with vox.

The vocal effect is wearying good start but could be nixed pretty soon.
the other vocals are really well suited to the song.
Just a nit pick lyrically "the more we know the less (not lesser) we know" is the correct grammar I think & with the quality of the lyric generally you should fix this one little bit up. Lyrically the rest is pretty well set up.
Good work, you've done a great job pulling it together.

Re drum styles there's one the pix missed when the drummer passes wind on a butterfly that trips the stick - it's called a hyperbutterflyeffectarseblast at a bpm that can only be counted by measuring humming bird heart beats.

The lyric is actually "The more that we know, the less that we know".. I am not that horrible at grammar! In fact it is very much one of my strong suits. Perhaps I just don't enunciate clearly enough, but that wasn't my number one concern.

Since posting this mix I've fixed a couple of things, cut some of the ultra low end off the guitars and lowered the bass guitar a bit, there was a bit too much sub frequency in there, the mix also sounded a bit flat so I did what I could to give it some more presence. I haven't uploaded it but just updating you.
 
I think it sounds pretty cool. Nice guitar tone, and a good amount of bottom end. It doesn't rattle at my end, but has plenty of lows.

:) Never thought I'd get so many compliments on guitar tone using nothing but a cheap hundred dollar guitar with single coils and a PLUGIN amp.. lmao

And I am gonna record a whole album like this.
 
I thought the line was uncharacteristic - I did mention the rest was spot on. Must be my listening skills. I like the lyrics - clever without being "clever".

hmm that's probably the "too much low end" thing.. I will let you know when the latest mix is up.
