E-mu 1212m???

I'm looking for a souncard that i can transfer my adat tapes to, as well as send in two tracks from a master reel to reel recording. The 1212M supposedly has really nice converters, with an S/N ratio of 120dB. I'm pretty sure the 1212M will work for me, has anyone used it? Are there any reasons i should hesitate to get it?

It's actually a real good soundcard, one that you won't have to upgrade. People only complain about it not having that many I/O but you can get other things for that. But other than that you can get great quality out of it.

I have the 1212m and I think it's great.

The only thing- be prepared to spend some time learning how to use this card.

I also have this card. It is a good card for what you are talking about doing. Personally, I need more input capability, and yes, it does take some learning.
