This is something i need to know for a peice of work im doing...when bouncing audio you have option of 'convert during bounce' 'convert after bounce' - what is it your converting?

I always assumed it was the sample rate from whatever your working with down to 44.1, 16 bit but ive never actually confirmed that.

Cheers
James

correct, it is the sample rate and bit depth

Convert after bounce means just that...it will convert after bounce. You have to wait a little longer for PT to convert, but it offers better plugin automation accuracy as opposed to doing it during the bounce.
