Dumb connections question... quick answer

Can i use a digital effects unit (with digital connections) and make an effects send loop into a Tascam 488MK II? (cassette based multitracker?) It has 2 effects sends and aux insert points

I want a Zoom RFX-2000 digital reverb and effects unit. They look mighty fine to my budget. Can i use it with my tascam??
 
Yes... Was that quick enough?

But that effects unit doesn't have digital connections are far as I could see. Not that you need them...
