hey guys, finally got the drumkit from hell and love it!!!

only problem I'm having is ease of use.

I try cubase but because i'm doign metal its hard for me to manually go in an do drum parts as the grid is way too big but the notes are tiny.

tried using in fruity loops but found the samples sounded off...soudned way better in cubase...hrm

anyways.

anyone suggest another vst program that makes it easy to use ezdrummer and write / edit own beats?

cheers

personally, i use DFH in Ableton 7. works easy, sounds great... only drawback (and not much of one at that) is that you have to zoom in on the grid at times.

Save yourself a year of fiddling with midi and check out www.groovemonkey.com You can download thousands of beats for a lot music types including rock and metal.

IMO the best loops are the ones that come with EZdrummer though (the EZX DFH add-on is excellent) - if you do get that at some stage you can use them in DFHS too by converting them with a free piece of software on the Toontrack website.
