just installed Vegas 3.0
using a Roland/M-Audio RPC-1 card-8in 8 out
Windows XP
I want to use WDM drivers, but my only options in Audio Preferences are Windows Classic Wave Driver & Microsoft Sound Mapper. Neither will let me record from any but the first 2 inputs. How can I get it to use WDM driver?

When you choose 'classic' it doesn't let you select the inputs you want to use for recording?...or what does it let you choose from? For me, I can choose either my SB Live or the various M-Audio options.

With Classic, I can choose from all 8 inputs, but when I arm the track for recording (any track with inputs 3-8 assigned), I get the error: "An unsupported media type was requested. The recording device Roland RPC-1 does not support the current input format"

Actually, the problem is that I can only record from one pair of inputs (any pair) at a time without getting the error message.
The driver installed is the RPC-1 ver 5.10.0.026.
