yo - i just got this phone call from a dude that owns a studio - i actually recorded in his studio like . . . 5 years ago - n i recorded once!!!

he called me to let me know that if i go to the radio station tonight i can be on the air . . .

now its funny cuz i tell my pplz all the time - "stay ready!!! so u dont have to git ready!!!"

now a part of me dont believe or trust dude at all - how in the hell he gon call me tonite - tonite of all nites!!!

only thing i had planned was a recording session wit this dude i know - he called me like 10 mins. before this "rec. engineer" called - to cancel the session . . .


so im like . . . paranoid!!!!! as phuck - cuz another cat im cool wit got his shit broken into once - on some old "fall for the okie doke" type shit that got him out his house on an unexpected "opportunity" . . . -

is it worth goin down there?

hmmmmm . . .

what are you going to loose? I don't think it was just out of the blue to just you, maybe he had a call list that included your name on it from past clients etc.. Go for it, never know. The deal might flop, but you could be standing there talking to the radio station programming manager, and set it off lol
 
Your in a business of risk and reward Gully...LOL Do what you feel.

I would hope nobody's that low that ppl you associate with would set you up, but then again these days you never know.
