Does SX3 need more CPU than SX2?

I've been thinking of upgrading to SX3... I've read that SX3 needs a more powerfull PC. More so than SX2? SX2 runs fine on my 2800 AMD system... but I don't want to lose any of what I already have going. If you know what I mean.. # of tracks and PlugIns.

Is it even worth it?

Actually, SX3 seems to run quite a bit faster than SX2 on my humble 1400mhz amd opteron.

I actually experienced better efficiency with SX3 than sx2 as well.

That's good to hear. Maybe what I read... they meant SX in general.
