when you remove the grill and looking at the capsule, is the top part of the capsule supposed to be with a soft screen/cloth on it? i think i remember seeing the top part of the capsule having some kind of a hard plastic cover on it.. please help

I just opened one of my old OM2s up... yes, it has a black soft film covering it.

I've got a one year old OM2...

Mine looks like this really thin transparent screen, totally smooth, can't see any perforation. I guess I could call it cloth, but I definitely wouldn't call it soft.

haha, ya... i guess i was drunk or something... i didnt mean to say 'soft'... just smooth.. i dunno... i am confused.
