Do you buy Sonar 8 & upgrade to 8.5? Or can you buy 8.5?

I dont know if I'm confused or what

But I see all of this talk on websites & calkwalk.com and see images that say Sonar 8, but then it also says 8.5?

So do you purchase 8 & upgrade to 8.5? Or can/do you buy 8.5?

and i think you have to have 8 for 8.5...which is worth it for the drum strip and vocal strip alone

See all of the links I see just shows Sonar 8 printed on the box/image

So 8.5 is an upgrade then?

I need to first get 8 & then upgrade internally to 8.5?

Is that correct?
