Well I posted somthing in the guitar section about miking my amp and how I keep getting a bathroom-like sound to my guitar and even somewhat the drums. I was pondering the fact that maybe it's how the sound boucnes off the walls in my studio. I have a pretty darn small studio packed with drums amps and all my recording equipment so things are a little tight in there. Although it's not closet sized its not exactly roomey (there are two windows looking out to my front yard also if that matters?). Ok so should I sound proof this studio? Its just regular walls no special protection and I'm thinking the sound sucks in there partly becuase of this. Besides the fact that its also our rehersal studio and the floorboards in my moms living room are being shaken apart I want the best walls for the best quality sound! Help me out here! I heard cork works pretty well and is fairly fire retartdant. What is the best for my situation what should I use If anything?
