Anyone know how to make something to split the highs/lows from an audio source?

What you are talking about is a Crossover , it can send one part of the frequency spectrum to one source and one to another source , they are generally used in amp outputs to sent seperate signals to say a woofer and tweeter , the crossovers on speaker outputs are usually passive .....

There are also crossovers that are active which will split frequencies and sent them to seperate amps for Bi-amping or Tri-amping .......

What type of crossover do you think you need ?? If you need something like this for a recording situation you can probably do it in your DAW ....

Cheers
