Discmakers Sound Lab - anyone use this?

Taking the slow road
Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with this mastering 'lab.' I would guess you used it only b/c you were having ur cd's manufactured there?
 
I wouldn't take a chance on it unless I know people who've use it. so far it ain't gonna happen :)
 
Yeah, one is SanJose if that's what you mean? I think they have other sites though...

I just got a DVD from them showing the manufacturing process, etc. It's free, pretty impressive. They only mention the mastering lab a little in it. There is also one near Philly, but they aslo have a few sales offices, not sure how many plants.
 
The last project I recorded was mastered by Erik Wolf at Wolf Mastering in Nashville. His rates seem to be in the same ballpark as the rates on the discmakers site. The fact that he worked with Bernie Grundman 5 years and the first client that pops up on his client list page is Delbert McClinton didn't hurt him in my book.

He did a very good job and his turnaround time kicked ass.
