Hi
thats part of a song I´m working on.

Its kinda like kyuss, slo burn style.

Please comment the "mix", cause the song isn´t ready, yet.

Thanks
Dirk

Hey Dirk
I like this mix a lot - I have no real criticism actually. Maybe the only point I would make is that in the last 1/3 or so of the snippet it would be nice to hear some more detail in that groovy bass, have it a bit more upfront with maybe a bit less midrange in the guitars at that point...

Good mix... very organic sounding guitars. What are you doing for drums here?
I really like them. The ending does not match the rest of the song. Kind of abrubt/petering out.

Good Stuff.

Its not a finished song. It was more like a test for mixing.
But the song is in progress :-)
For drums I´m using Fl-Studio and a SampleLibrary
(Native Instruments Studio Drums).
Did some tweaking here and there, mainly EQ for snare, toms and cymbals.
The kick has no tweaking.
I really like the library.

Yeah the bass is a big problem for me.
I ain´t got a real Bass amp. I´m using my Guitar amp and a shitty bass.
Thanks for the advice, it is allways good to hear other peoples opinions.
Working alone on a song can be very missleading :-) I take my main view on the guitars (I´m a guitar player :-) ).

Nice riff!
Somehow reminds of Audioslave....

I would compress the drums more to make them really kick ass, especially the snare. I'd love to hear the whole thing finished though....

Sounds Pretty Good To Me

Would you like me to write some lyrics for this. Sounds like a cool rocker. PM me if you're interested.:)

I reckon that you have coaxed a very cool bass sound out of your setup even if you think its shitty, so don't be afraid to just turn it up a little bit. In the context of a song like this a bit of grit never hurt anyone

Thank you,
Click on the link again, I put a new version on it.

My ears are bleeding cause i had to turn it up to 11.
Basically this is gonna sound great no matter what you do with it because its a good song performed well
I went back and listened to the old version again and that one is still very good anyway. The new version does sound punchier at the end when the louder bit kicks in, which sounds awesome. Anyway i am just 1 pair of ears, listening through headphones

Hey, V.V., do you sing? Got a rock voice? PM me when you get a beginning middle and an end to this song. I think it could be really hot. :)

The mix is great, the only thing that popped into my mnd while listening on headphones is that intro guitar sits a bit left so the intro sounds a little unbalanced until everything comes in. It's fine on speakers though.....And that was all that even remotely came up about the mix. Very cool...:cool::cool:

Coolio....
This song just screams "biker" to me....
I seen myself at a carnival as a teen waiting to get on a ride, and hearing this song blasting over the speakers there...
wow.... takes ya back, music. And they say smell is the sense most associated with memory!

Good job!
