reamping or re-recording at a lower pitch and speed

When i playback my vocal track#1 how can i reamp or re-record the vocal#1 track so its at a different speed and pitch?

How can u have each track at a different playback speed and pitch??

example:
24 tracks of audio with 24 different playback speeds and 24 different pitches how can u processes each track to either re-record it or sample the track but WHAT CAN I USE to make it at a different playback speed and playback pitch for each 24 tracks please??

OK, walters, I didn't want to have to do this buuutttt.

This has been discussed time and time again. Every other post, someone is asking about the same thing. 24 tracks, 24 speeds, blah blah. How many times do people have to do this. USE THE SEARCH BUTTON.

Record it slower the first time.

When re-amping, run the track through anything with 'Turbo' in the name. It'll speed the track up AND raise the pitch!

To record and playback at different speeds take one of the machines and put it on a separate voltage generator where you can vary the oscillator from 60Hz. As the machine is playing reduce the voltage frequency to slow it down and increase over 60 Hz to speed up (for US voltages).

You can also get a hotter signal to "tape" by increasing the voltage of the generator. Eddie Van Halen used to use this same technique to hot-rod his Marshalls, so it has to work just as well with DAWs. It gives them that "brown sound".

Are you trying to get walters killed?

Naw, but it may slow him down a bit. :)

Actually the oscillator technique was the way that it was done with tape machines at Abbey Rd.

Not to worry, it's not as if Wally actually does anything with the answers he gets.

Can a samples record a whole vocal track and re-process it to make it flat or sharp playback speed and pitch??

whats samples can record a whole vocal track and then process it to playback flat or sharp playback speeds?

How can u do time-streching in real time?

I'm trying to have each track has its own vari-speed (oscillator)and vari pitch

double track vocals (these are all copys)
example:
Vocal#1 at normal playback speed and pitch
Vocal#2 alittle flat semitone playback speed and pitch is lower
Vocal#3 alittle sharp semitone playback speed and pitch is higher
Vocal#4 offset alittle but at unison playback speed & pitch is normal

I know back in the 60's was done using 3 or 4 reel to reel tape machines and would split the vocals to 3 or 4 tape machines and then setting the VSO vari-speeds at different **recording speeds**, or using power suppliers with variable frequency.

But today can't u just record the vocals on track#1 and then using a sampler to record the copy vocals and process it to be at different playback speeds?

How can u time scretch the vocals so its at a different playback speed then the FIRST vocal track?

Well, you can get 3 or 4 reel to reel tape machines and split the vocals to 3 or 4 tape machines and then set the VSO vari-speeds at different recording speeds, or use power supplies with variable frequency.....

Why doesn't Ford Van answer any of Walters' questions?

Maybe because [Response blocked by Diplomacy Filter v4.7]

I farted. Can you smell it Wally?

Damn, that was bad......

Hmmm....

I was wondering if maybe "Wally" didn't like answering his own questions.

I use Samplitude, and time stretching a track or an object is dead simple. Same with pitch. I'm sure Samplitude isn't the only program out there doing elastic audio?
