Delta 44 problem with Home Studio XL

Hope someone can help. I am using the Delta 44 card with its 4/4 breakout box. All seemed to install okay. However, I can not get the recording software (Home Studio) to recognize inputs #3 and #4 when I set up to record them. I have dickered around with some many options at this point, I am confused.
Anyone else confront this before and have a solution to try?

If you're using HomeStudio 2002, then you're out of luck. HS02 can only use one stereo-pair at a time.
 
Thanks for the quick reply. - Yes that is exactly the version I am using. Guess I am now to be searching for a better piece of S/W that will do this,
