i just got a delta 44 and have been tinkering with it's settings but i have a problem.
basically, my computer's soundcard no longer works. the delta 44 doesn't act as a normal soundcard, but it only outputs what's being input to it. i need to hear regular sounds as well as things going in/coming out of the 44.
there is no way to enable/disable the stock soundcard. it's acting as if it's locked.
i'd prefer the delta44 to act as THE soundcard for the computer. so basically output computer noises and input noises
my computer is a hp media center pc m7060n
dual 3ghz processors
1gb ram
200gb hd
60gb ext. hd
..umm that's probably all that is relevant.
this is the only pci device that i've added.
i don't care whether or not the delta acts as output or the stock soundcard does. i need the normal system sounds. i can output what the delta does while recording through the normal sound card.
help me!
thanks
(yeah, i'm sure this is ultra n00b)
my screen name is also fiveinfiveidie if someone wants to walk me through this that way, which would work way better.
