Hiya!
I'm still trying to get my studio back up and running tho I am loads closer!
I now have an audiophile 2496 card. This is mostly working just fine except I have two problems.
Firstly my old turtle beach card used to echo the line in back through the line out so that I could hear what I was recording along with the existing tracks, the 2496 doesn't seem to do this which is kind of a pain. Is there a simple way to do this, and if not how should I go about monitoring what I'm recording at the same time as monitoring what I have already recorded!
Secondly the line in onthe 2496 seems a lot quieter than I remember the turtle beach card being and I'm struggling to get my 4 track to provide a hot signal. If I bump up the 4 track too much it becomes quite noisy sadly.
Any ideas anyone?
