This board needs some new/ additional moderators so things like this don't get out of hand and posts can be moved to the right forums, etc. etc.
 
I dunno...

It seems like things run pretty smoothly around here...I prefer more of a laidback style of moderation anyway.

Some things, like the outright spam we saw today, need a quick and uncompromising response (which it got, BTW)...but I think the threads that just get heated shouldn't be censored. There is some gray area (hi Alan) but that seems to have worked itself out just fine and I'm very glad that Mr. Hyatt is still around, whereas if he had been "Moderated" I wonder if he would still be hanging out here.

I like the way things are - which is something I can't say about very many things these days. ;)
