Hey all,

I'm back with another track.

I recorded this last night and I thought I'd seek out your advice / critiques while I write the lyrics & vocal melody.

This is the first draft so it's still rough around the edges.

I think this might be a cool tune when you get the vox on it. I liked the guitar tone it had a nice tube-bark to it, maybe a tad fizzy, but good. Your guitar performance and drum track are good too. However, the drums seems to be hiding behind a guitar cloud, let'em out! Let them come forth and shine! (a little eq, some volume and guitar taming, with vol. and eq, should do it)
Sounds like a fairly modern/relevant alt. rock tune in the making....

Here's MIX 2 - I tried to clear up the guitars and bass a bit and push the drums up more. Note: It sounds like Box.net adds more bass when I'm streaming the track back... strange.

Well, dude, it's pretty good except I think the bass drum could come through better, maybe that is just opinion though. Other than that it sounds pretty good and is a tight performance. It isn't coming through to me that there is too much bass. Bad ass song. I listened to mix 2 just so you know. Can't wait to hear this when it is done.
