Gee, just been sitting back watching this liitle folly unfold and I must say it's taken a humorous little twist. But back to your original question AV-Boy; Have you come to any conclusions about building a new PC? Prices are so low on good components, I can't believe it. Decide on what you want souncard/processor/software wise and put it together. If you can't get it all now start with the new machine and add the soundcard later. If you don't have the $$ to build the machine you want now get a motherboard that will accept a larger processor later on and start with that. You can do it and keep the wife happy too. The imortant this is what an engineer friend of mine told me once. "The music is the most important thing!"
