D2424LV -let the fun begin

We've got two of these units ordered, so now the real fun will begin.

I'll be capturing many old tapes to digital, and installing one of the units for playback in the planetarium, replacing our well-worn Otari MX5050 and 1/2" tapes.

We'll be the first facility to use this unit with our theater automation - let's just hope it's not too buggy of a setup.

Thought I would send a quick note to you... in January I picked up a Fostex D1624 (from what I understand, it's the 16 track version of what you are buying). I couldn't be happier with it. It's easy to use and does a great job (home studio).
