Damn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was getting a noise from playback of even blank tapes that sounds just like a record skipping. like an intermittent pop. So I figured the heads just needed cleaned up , so I did that and even scored a demagnitizer wand. I thought it cured the problem, but.........its back.
So Im going to take one of the tapes and do a quick mixdown to see if its a problem not related to the heads,etc., but possibly some kind of short even in the headphone jack or something.
anyone been here before?
